Starscream Isn't Gay

1) He has a "girly" voice.

No, he doesn't. Shrapnel and Kickback have higher pitched voices than he does. Cobra Commander has a similar voice. People don't think they're gay. As a matter of fact, his voice is more masculine than feminine anyway. Speaking of the Insecticons, they have high-pitched voices (except Bombshell) and they seem to spend a lot of time together, but still no one even considers that.

2) He acts gay.

OK, when? When has he ever hit on another Decepticon? When has he ever hit on anybody? When does he even act like he has a sexual preference at all? Never. In fact, remember the Nightbird episode, where the one guy is warping Nightbird's mind and he says "I love warping minds for you, Megatron. Love it" and he sounds... really strange... THAT sounded suspicious. And people thinking he was jealous because Nightbird took Megatron? 1) He couldn't care less about Nightbird and Megatron, he didn't want to lose his rank. In his position, I would have done the same thing, but I would have shot Megatron afterwards for even thinking about replacing me. 2) I don't even think Megatron loved Nightbird. They hardly interacted wth one another throughout the entire episode. Megatron liked Nightbird as a warrior, not as a lover. I might also point out that what people say is not true, Nightbird was not a Decepticon by choice. Her mind was warped, you might recall. 3) Starscream hates Megatron. Why would he care if Nightbird came along and Megatron started paying attention to her? Do you people even watch the show?

3) He tries to kill the Autobot femmes.

So? That doesn't mean he's gay, that means he doesn't like girls. I don't like guys, does that mean I'm a lesbian? No, it just means I'm anti-social. Have you people ever stopped to consider that maybe, just maybe, Starscream might be anti-social? And just maybe he was trying to kill them because they're Autobots and he's a Decepticon. Let's face it, if you were a Decepticon guy, and you had to fight against a bunch of Autobot females, would you try to hook up with them?? No, you would fight them (hopefully) and you would try to beat them so that you wouldn't look bad. Besides, if he's anything like me, he probably thought they were annoying.

4) In France, his voice is dubbed by a woman.

So? Did you know that in the original Japanese version of Dragonball Z, Son Gokou's seiyuu is a woman. They probably had a woman voice him because his voice is high-pitched, and they couldn't find a guy with a voice like that. In fact, it's common that voice actors do characters of the opposite gender. Bart Simpson is voice by a girl. This reason is just plain stupid.

5) In "Divide And Conquer" Megatron stroked Starscream's arm.

Look closer. Megatron isn't touching Starscream's arm. You can tell by the shadowing. Perhaps he wanted to, but decided not to, so he just let his arm kinda go off to the side. In which case, Megatron would be gay (or bi) and Starscream would be his object of affection. However, Starscream doesn't like Megatron back. And that kinda does make sense. Megatron decided to seem attached to Nightbird to try and make Starscream jealous, but Starscream didn't care. In fact, this explains why Megatron never killed Starscream. Even after the Nightbird Incident, Starscream's still there. Hey, perhaps that's why Starscream didn't kill Megatron when he had the chance. Because he didn't understand why Megatron wouldn't kill him and he wanted to find out. Now, the arguement of this person was that the animators showed what they showed, so Starscream and Megatron liked each other. Well, what about what they didn't show? They didn't show Megatron and Starscream hugging or kissing, or telling each other that they loved each other. In fact, what they do show is Megatron calling Starscream a traitor and Starscream betraying Megatron. In closing, there's nothing going on between Megatron and Starscream except for rivalry, and possibly Megatron having a crush on Starscream.
