Henshin Phrases: None. English Dub Name: Hotaru Tomoe (pronounced Tomo). Mixx Manga Name: Hotaru. Hotaru was a lonely, sickly girl at the beginning of the S series.  She was born with a strange power to heal people, but her power would cause her to become exhausted.  As the season progressed, it turned out that Hotaru was possessed by a demon call Mistress Nine, transforming into her by swallowing Chibiusa's heart crystal.  Mistress Nine tricked Hotaru's father, Tomoe Souichi, into getting Sailor Moon to give her the Holy Grail, Sailor Moon's source of power at that time.  Mistress Nine destroyed the Holy Grail, releasing Pharoah 90.  Hotaru defeated Mistress Nine within her mind, and returned Chibiusa's heart crystal to her in Mamoru's home.  She then went back to the battle field to destroy Pharoah Ninety.  She did this by using her Death Reborn Revolution attack, but she destroyed herself as well.  She was reborn, and reappered in SailorStars.
